Welcome!

UP-Hub contributes to the critical and timely issue of socio-spatial and environmental injustice in present-day cities through international research collaboration of students and researchers.

Through multiple case studies, we explore new theoretical and methodological approaches to advance flexible urban planning that rapidly adapts to changes. In addition, the UP-Hub delivers Community Engaged Learning (CEL) initiatives in diverse urban settings to derive experiential-based toolkit for inclusive planning in research and practice.

Faculty Workshop

The UP-Hub hosted its first Faculty Workshop themed “Navigating Urban Uncertainties and Futures: Embracing the Nonrepresentational Lens for Socio-Spatial Inclusion” in April of 2024. Click below to learn more about the outcomes of this workshop.
